I'm tired of boys who talk that wonderful fairytale talk, who make you feel like on top of the world, just to break you down later on. Who promise to change, to not let you down, who talk so freaking much! I'm tired of their weakness, the insecurity, lack of discipline, goals and life-direction, how they hide behind their parents' money and are helpless on their own, plus the endless cr#p that comes out of their mouth, it's just worthless. And it affects a woman.
I long to be with a man, who's strong, who makes a few promises, but he keeps them. Who might not talk much, but who knows how to be there when I need him. I want to feel desired, I want someone to count on, to be my rock in my darkest moments. Where on earth do I find that type of man?
When I was a little girl, my first hero was my uncle. He came into our family and he just swept us all off our feet. He was a man. He still is. Not only did he involve himself in my aunts life, he got involved in our lives as well. Loved me as his own daughter and took care of us.
I once told him, that he is the type of man I want, who keeps his promises. (That was some big words for a 7 year old girl.) :-)
