Wake up and smell the coffee

When I was in New York back in February I bought a very interesting book.
I love books and I read a lot, but this one wasn’t just any kind of book, it was really special and it made me think in a different way. The cover was white and pink and the title was quite catchy.
“If he’s not the one, who is?”
Says it all, huh? Yup, and I bought it right away.
Lisa Steadman, the author made me change the way I was thinking. (For your information she’s an author of another great book: “It’s a Breakup, Not a Breakdown”)

Anyway, it didn’t take too long to make up my mind about the book, Lisa Steadman had me at the very first page. The dedication:
“To all the single women of the world who are ready to walk away from dating and relationship drama, disappointment, and disasters, and instead re-create their happily ever after… Today is your day.”

A lot of things happened since February and today I decided to re-read the book.
Why? Simply because ”one is not the loneliest number”, because “mr. wrong was not the one” and because of all the other awesome chapters in the book, but also because I feel like I need to get back to the state of mind I was in when I spent the $ 14.95 (The best $ 14.95 I've ever spent!!! )
I don’t know whether I still believe in love, but my job is still to turn “The Party of One” to “The Party of Fun”, the mood swings and the ups and downs they all come and go, but it’s the state of mind I really want to keep, no matter what’s going on in my life, where I go and what I do. Being disappointed is just not an option anymore.
