I'm re-reading another interesting book I bought last year. This one is written by Jemima Fox.
She's talking about why some people fail on getting back together, after a break-up. Simply because the problems are not solved...
So people give a relationship another shot, jump right back into each others arms, trying to continue where they left, without agreeing on any changes in the relationship, without discussing what went wrong in the first place, making same mistakes, fighting over same things as before.
No wonder it will never work out......
This is how I see it, things can be solved and people can change, but it doesn't happen overnight. Relationships are like a full-time job and one have to be willing to give up a lot to make it work... If it's worth it.
It's also about getting to know each other again, seeing your partner in a new light.
