The video

Kony 2012 by Invisible Children
It's all over Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, it's everywhere.
People are going crazy over this video, saying how they cried while watching it. Everyone is so surprised and in shock. Facebook friends are joining groups, buying action kits and t-shirts.
I'm not gonna lie. I liked the awareness video. I liked it because it inspired me to continue working on my own projects. I admire the Invisible Childrens work and I'm sure they are doing a great thing by making people aware of this major problem. But it's just the ignorance of the regular people that bothers me. Their reactions like "OMG, OMG, is this true???"
It's a sad story, a disaster, but don't tell me you didn't know??!!!! Don't tell me nobody knows what's going on in Africa! Or is it because people don't care what's going on there?
It's bothering me how people want to be a part of this "let's catch the bad guy campaign" because it somehow is turning into a trend, everyone wants to join, get to wear t-shirts and bracelets and save the world. Even the celebrities are involved and are a big part of it, which makes the whole thing great marketing.
I'm really impressed.
